Nationwide Tour Championship To Benefit Collin County Charities Through Tickets For Charity Program

McKinney, TX – Salesmanship Club of Dallas officials and David Craig of TPC Craig Ranch announced today that tickets for the 2008 Nationwide Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch are now on sale, and a number of Collin County nonprofit organizations will benefit along with the Salesmanship Club's primary beneficiary, Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers.

"I'm thrilled to help bring the Nationwide Tour Championship to McKinney, Texas, and to be able to offer this fundraising opportunity to so many valuable charitable causes here in Collin County," said David Craig, chairman and CEO of Craig Ranch International. "We all know that times are getting even tougher for nonprofits trying to raise money to sustain their programs, and I think this tournament will provide a great platform for raising funds that will help thousands of people in the greater Collin County area."

As the culminating event of the Nationwide Tour season, the Nationwide Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch will be played Nov. 6-9 and will feature the top-60 money winners on the Nationwide Tour who will compete for their PGA TOUR cards and a $1 million purse. PGA TOUR cards for the 2009 season will be awarded at the conclusion of the Championship to the 25 leading money winners.

Numerous Collin County charities were invited to participate in the Nationwide Tour Championship's Tickets for Charity program, which allows Collin County nonprofit organizations to sell Nationwide Tour Championship tickets to directly benefit their charitable organization. Participating charities will receive 100 percent of the money collected from tickets sold. Tickets are $10 each or $90 for a book of 10 tickets.

Participating charities include the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross of Collin County, Avenues Counseling Center, Boys and Girls Club of Collin County, CASA of Collin County, CITY House,

Collin County Children's Advocacy Center, Collin County Historic Preservation Society, the Heard Natural Science and Wildlife Museum, Meals on Wheels of Collin County, National Multiple Sclerosis Society—Lone Star Chapter, North Collin County Habitat for Humanity, RISE Preschool, Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers, The Samaritan Inn, and SPCA.
